Rough opener

-Let’s be honest. The Bobcats could take the film from last night and watch it sped up with the Benny Hill theme playing and get as much value as the watching in real-time. They were flat. They were bad. They had jitters. They were out of shape. They looked sloppy. They looked stiff. They played with little emotion.

-Despite these all being things you hope Larry Brown would help counter, the most important thing is: They played the Celtics. And it was one game.

-I came into work today and people were shooting off about the Bobcats and how I’d be all upset. They were 11 point dogs playing without Raja Bell and with the cadavers of Boris Diaw and Tyson Chandler.

-Gerald Henderson and Derrick Brown showed some promise, but I’m interested to see some more of them in a tighter game.

Also, anyone with a pulse, please listen to this podcast from Alex Podlogar. When a guy’s last name is Pod-logar, you know he’s going to be a podcast svengali. Please listen. I’d also recommend his blog in general. Please visit it frequently.
